A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! This 37-pound bundle of energy is ready to find his person - and honestly, he's been ready for a while. Tubby is a 1.5-year-old mixed breed who came to us from an overcrowded animal control, and this boy deserves so much better than what life has handed him so far. Tubby is full of life. He's high energy, enthusiastic, and approaches everything with his whole heart. He's been friendly with other dogs, though he can get a little overexcited and plays with a rough and tumble style, so he'll do best with a canine sibling who can match his vibe. Leash walking is still a work in progress, but with some consistency and patience, we have no doubt he'll catch on fast. What Tubby needs most is an active family who loves a dog that's always down for an adventure - someone who will channel all that beautiful energy and give him the stability he's never had. Because here's the thing about Tubby: he hasn't had a real chance yet. Once he has a home to call his own and people to call his family, we truly believe he is going to blossom into something special. Tubby currently weighs about 37lbs, is approximately 1.5 years old, and his adoption fee is $315. Tubby has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
