Animal Bio

A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Sally is a one-year-old lab mix who is so very excited to find her forever family. If you’re looking for a best friend, she’s your girl. She’ll happily stay by your side all day long, whether it’s time to play or time to snooze. Her foster mom lovingly calls her a “Velcro dog” because she follows her from room to room, always wanting to be close. She doesn’t jump on beds or couches, but if invited up, she would be absolutely thrilled to cuddle beside you. Sally prefers not to sleep in a crate at night or when you’re home during the day, but she does just fine in her crate when you’re away. Toss a treat inside, and she’ll walk right in without hesitation. She loves running around in a fenced yard and has a blast chasing a soccer ball. She is incredibly trainable & eager to learn (especially if there are treats involved). She already knows how to sit and is improving on her leash skills every day. Her foster mom believes she’ll make a wonderful running or hiking buddy once her training is complete. Sally is super playful and would love to have a younger doggy sibling who can match her excited and energetic playstyle, but she'd be just as happy as your one and only, too! More than anything, Sally would love to be in a home where her person is around most of the time because she truly loves being close to her human! Sally currently weighs about 44lbs., is almost 1 years old (est. birth date 01/29/2025), and her adoption fee is $315. Sally has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
