Yeti is a 7-month-old red heeler mix with a big personality and an even bigger brain. This happy, energetic boy is incredibly smart and already knows “sit,” “down,” and “touch.” He’s eager to learn and thrives when given structure, training, and a job to do.
True to his breed, Yeti loves to stay active. Whether it’s going for a run, playing tug, chasing a ball, or herding his favorite Jolly Ball around the yard, he’s always ready for fun. He’ll need plenty of daily exercise and mental enrichment to keep him happy and balanced.
Yeti is still young and continuing to work on his manners, but he’s making great progress. He’s doing well on leash and enjoys getting out and about, though he’ll benefit from continued guidance as he builds consistency and confidence. With the right support, he’s going to grow into an incredible companion.
Because of his natural herding instincts, Yeti would do best in a home without young children or cats. A fenced yard is a must so he can safely run and express his natural behaviors. He would thrive with an active, experienced owner—ideally someone familiar with herding breeds—who is committed to continuing his training and giving him the outlet he needs.
If you’re looking for a loyal, driven, and fun-loving dog to keep up with your active lifestyle, Yeti might be your perfect adventure partner.
