A foster-to-adopt option is available, giving you the chance to get to know Mr. Marge before making it official! At 12½ years young and 20 pounds, Mr. Marge — better known as Gene — is a spunky senior with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He is potty trained, loves to go for walks, adores his people, and is full of life and personality despite being a senior. Gene is absolutely hilarious and will keep you laughing with his antics and expressions. He also loves to snuggle and would happily sit in your lap all day if you let him. He thrives on companionship and wants nothing more than to be near his person. He does well with other dogs but is your typical bossy little guy, so any canine siblings should be patient and respectful of his senior status. He may also do well with dog-savvy older children and possibly with some cats. Always dressed to impress, Gene proudly rocks his collection of sweaters and comfy outfits. His favorite activities include building blanket forts, enjoying the occasional hamburger treat, and playing with his beloved stuffed coffee mug toy. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with charm, humor, and endless snuggles to give, Gene is ready to steal your heart — and maybe even your sweater drawer. If you’re searching for a spirited, affectionate companion with a big personality (and impeccable sweater fashion), Mr. Marge is ready to rule your heart and home! Mr. Marge weighs 20lbs. and is approximately 12 years old (est. birth date 10/16/2013). Mr. Marge has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
