Meet Layla Lily — a lively, loving 2-year-old poodle mix with a big heart, big energy, and an even bigger devotion to her people. Layla Lily is housetrained, crate trained, and always ready for action. This girl is very active and would thrive with a family who can keep up with her enthusiasm for playtime, outdoor adventures, and plenty of mental stimulation. She adores being petted and making sure she gets her daily outside time. Layla forms strong bonds with her family and becomes protective of the people she loves. Because of this, she does best in a home with limited visitors and understanding adopters who can help her manage her “stranger danger” in a positive and patient way. She’s vocal, expressive, and will absolutely make her presence known. When it comes to other dogs, Layla is selective — she does well with some but isn’t a fan of every canine she meets so she will need to be the only dog in a home. Her protectiveness may play a role in this, so a home with space to roam, decompress, and meet dogs on her own terms could set her up for success. She has shown she can do well around kids, especially when the environment is structured and calm.
