Lauren is a fun-loving, easygoing Maltese–Terrier mix with a delightfully crazy hairdo and an even better personality. She’s friendly, playful, and well-mannered—she listens well, is quiet in the home, and is fully house-broken. Lauren gets along great with her foster dog siblings and would likely do well with cats and children. She has a naturally confident, “front-and-center” personality and enjoys being close to her people. Because she has some alpha tendencies, she may do best in a home without another strong alpha dog, unless they’re able to comfortably share the top-dog role. This medium-energy girl loves to run, enjoys her daily walks, and does very well off-leash in fenced and secure areas thanks to her excellent recall. Lauren would thrive in many types of homes, as long as she has enough activity to keep her engaged, approved toys to chew on, and plenty of laps to curl up in. Lauren currently weighs about 9 lbs., is approximately 10 months old (est. birth date 02/18/2025), and her adoption fee is $510. Lauren has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
