Meet Hiccup…. Hiccup is an absolutely incredible Bernedoodle with a wonderfully even temperament that makes him stand out from the crowd. Big and handsome, he turns heads on walks. He’s generally very easy to walk and does well on a leash, but he is a big dog and can pull towards things he wants to sniff. What truly makes Hiccup special is his beautiful balance of friendliness and companionship. He loves people big and small and enjoys dogs of all sizes. He’s social without being overly rambunctious, making him a great fit for homes with existing animals. Hiccup is also exceptionally well trained. He knows “sit,” “down,” and will happily and politely lay at your feet while you relax or next to you on the sofa if you prefer. He has lovely house manners and a naturally calm disposition that makes him an easy companion to live with. He’s the type of dog who settles into the rhythm of your home and simply wants to be near his people. Because Hiccup has been shuffled around a bit recently from a home, to a shelter environment, to a foster home, he can be mildly anxious. But once he realizes he’s safe and home, he settles in beautifully and shows his true, relaxed personality. Hiccup prefers to do his potty business in a backyard (either free or on leash) rather than on walks, so a home with a yard would be ideal for him. In return, you’ll get a dog who is adaptable, loving, well-mannered, and able to fit nicely into a variety of home environments. Hiccup has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
