During the summer of 2016 my wife and I decided that we wanted to adopt a 2nd dog to give our border collie mix Owen, a playmate and friend. I was stationed with the Army in Augusta, GA and found Furkids online as a great animal rescue that gives animals a second chance at happiness. When I went to furkids with Owen for a meet and greet, we had no idea that we were both about to meet one of the best additions we could have ever made in to our family. Named Sansa Stark at the time, renamed Eleanor, has brought to our lives so much joy that I still can't believe how lucky we were to adopt her. She is an adorable, sweet, stubborn love bug that our family cherishes every single day. Being that we are a military family, Ellie has now traveled across the country to our current residence in Southern California. Here she now loves to chase lizards and bay at wandering donkeys at the base we are stationed at. We also travel frequently to the sunny beaches and we always stop at the dog beaches where Ellie loves to swim and play with her brother and with the other dogs.
