Over the years, we have adopted two cats and three dogs from Small Dog Rescue/Furkids. Each of them have brought so much joy to our lives, and we are forever grateful to the work this organization does saving animals' lives. Thank you so much!
Bogey and Mulligan were two cat siblings with very different personalities that we adopted as kittens: Bogey being extremely outgoing, and Mulligan the shy one.
Milo, a spaniel mix, was our first dog adoption. He had a rough start like most rescue dogs, but was just adorable and a sweetheart. He worked as a therapy dog and loved everyone, especially children.
When shopping with Milo at a pet store where a rescue event was being held a year later, the organizers asked if we would be interested in fostering. That is how Piper, a corgi mix, came into our family as a "foster failure". She is very smart and obedient and a wonderful pup.
The third addition was sweet Boo, a Chihuahua mix and my "soul dog", who we met at the annual reunion picnic. Boo accompanied us on many travels.
I cannot imagine a life without pets and cannot express enough how much love and light these animals have brought us.
