Our love story began around the first part of November, 2017 when a friend of mine showed me a picture of sweet Whitney (renamed Phoebe). She had been left at Furkids along with her 3 puppies shortly after giving birth. Fortunately, Whitney was fostered immediately by Lindie Kusky who took exceptional care of her. Lindie is friends with the friend who showed me her photo and the rest is history. My family was interested in adopting a rescue because we had lost our other beloved rescue, Lilly back in June after 14 wonderful years. I always say, timing is everything and when I saw Whitney's precious face and heard her story, I knew it was a perfect match.
I had the good fortune of being able to message with Lindie after the decision was made to adopt Whitney. We had to wait until she was spayed before we could pick her which seemed like an eternity, however, on Dec. 16, 2017, we drove from Murfreesboro, TN to to Alpharetta to adopt her.
Fast forward to today and Phoebe has blossomed into a beautiful, sweet (and sassy) girl who adores her Big fur brother, Wilson and her new family. She is spoiled rotten and we couldn't be happier with our decision adopt from FurKids. Thank you for letting me share.
