My husband and I were considering adopting a rescue dog and stumbled upon FurKids on a random Saturday. I was so impressed with the staff, cleanliness, overall environment and care of the dogs there. A staff member recommended a dog named Anastasia to us as one of the favorites there. She had been brought to FurKids after being bitten by another dog and contracting Parvo. In the few weeks they had her, both of those problems were treated and she was fixed as well. Despite all of that only a few weeks earlier, she was such a happy go lucky dog, which spoke to the environment she was in there. She was the first dog we met. We fell in love with her after some playtime and a walk and she has changed our lives in such an amazing way. Little Orphan Annie was finally getting the love she deserves.
