In April of 2014, Furkids was asked to take a dog to visit Rosemary, a resident at a health and rehabilitation center. I took my adopted dog Willow, and we had such a good time that Willow and I, along with my other adopted dog Annie, have visited Rosemary regularly. The attached photos are from Rosemary’s 100th birthday party and two activities that are my dogs’ favorites – bingo and beauty parlor days! They have also enjoyed attending music therapy with Rosemary and meeting other residents. Rosemary is now 102 years old and loves to see my dogs as much as my dogs love to see her. This is the most rewarding volunteer experience I’ve had with Furkids; the second most rewarding is bottle feeding puppies.
