Being a volunteer cleaning room 8, I often walked up and down the hallway for supplies. One day there was a popcorn cart in the hallway full of kittens. Having a special place in my heart for orange colored cats, I had to stop and chat for a bit. When a particular orange kitty reached out to me I knew I was soon to have another family member? Couldn't get this kitty off my mind, brought my husband by the shelter and of course he was in agreement. We started out fostering since we had two older cats and a large dog and wasn't sure if the new kitty would be accepted. But you know the end of this story---we became foster fails, adopted the kitty and named him BUFORD. Since he was a male and a southerner and the shelter being off of Buford Highway, thought the name was perfect. And he is the perfect kitty!!!!
