I first become involved with Furkids when someone dumped a pregnant cat in a feral colony near my home. I had always wanted to be involved with animal rescue but being from a small town, was unable to find opportunities. Having just moved to Atlanta a few months prior, it had all fell into place. Furkids was the first rescue I contacted, and I have been involved with them since then. It was pure joy raising the kittens and finding homes for both them and the mother. From rescuing animals, donating, cleaning, fostering, and finding homes for all of the cats, I look for ways to get involved to help those without a voice. I have seen many faces and many cats, but they all leave a lasting impact on my life and the lives of the homeless animals Furkids works so tirelessly to help. I am truly honored to be involved in such a terrific organization and look forward to many more years of service.
