In March 2015, I decided that I needed to find a friend for my dog, Henry. I was working two jobs and was hardly ever home...and I could tell that little Henry was becoming lonely and depressed. My solution? A cat! A friend of mine who has been adopting from FurKids for many years told me to look there. I contacted them and asked them to find me a cat that is good with dogs. They showed me the cutest little 1 year old orange tabby! He had spent time in various foster homes with other cats AND dogs, and he did well with them. I adopted him, named him Roderick...and brought him home. Within a few hours, after Roderick showed Henry who is in charge, they became friends...and have become best buddies ever since. We've discovered that Roderick is actually a dog trapped in a cat's body! He greets me at the door every day, while Henry stays in bed. They'll randomly start wrestling, or chasing each other around the house...they just love to hang out together. I am so glad that FurKids was able to find the perfect fit for me and Henry!
