Injured by Gunshot, Sugar Pie Stays Sweet Although her soft powder blue eyes say a lot, Sugar Pie can’t tell us everything she has been through in her two short years of life. Over the years, she was adopted and then returned several times due to some potty habits that are difficult for anyone to cope with. It broke our hearts to see her… READ MORE >

Nitro Takes a Deep Breath - Volume! We love to share the amazing transformations of the animals we rescue, but sometimes the difference between "before" and "after" rescue isn't something you can see. When little Nitro came to us, she had a terrible upper respiratory infection. Just listen to her struggle to breathe in this video - and then listen to how far she has come! Not only has Nitro been ill, but her siblings also are recovering from intestinal woes. They are all getting healthy, thanks to veterinary care and medications from the Furkids medical team in our new veterinary clinic in Cumming - and thanks to their foster… READ MORE >
