Home is a Furever Commitment Celebrating Our 18th Anniversary of Commitment to Saving Lives Yesterday, we ran into a particularly heroic Furkids adopter, Christy T. In May of last year, Christy adopted the one cat that had been with Furkids longer than any other animal in our 18-year history. She adopted Confetti, who had come to Furkids in 2004, and been with us for over 14 years! Confetti came to Furkids when she was only two. Over the years, she was adopted and then returned several times due to some potty habits that are difficult for anyone to cope with. It broke our hearts to see her… READ MORE >

Nitro Takes a Deep Breath - Volume! We love to share the amazing transformations of the animals we rescue, but sometimes the difference between "before" and "after" rescue isn't something you can see. When little Nitro came to us, she had a terrible upper respiratory infection. Just listen to her struggle to breathe in this video - and then listen to how far she has come! My ears are nicked, my tail has been broken and is crooked, and my ear hurt so badly for so long that now I have a permanent head tilt. I look like a mess. But one day when I was hiding under a house, a nice lady… READ MORE >

Miranda Lambert to Fill the Little Red Wagon in Donation Drive For the second year in a row, Miranda Lambert has chosen Furkids as the beneficiary of their Atlanta concert tour stop for her "Fill the Little Red Wagon" initiative! Last year, concert attendees were so generous; filling up an entire moving van of donations of food and beds and toys to make our shelter pets comfortable while they wait for their forever homes! This year, Miranda's Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars Atlanta tour stop at the Infinite Energy Arena is on November 22, 2019. To rally the support of concertgoers and help animals in need, Miranda and Live Nation are offering up the chance for… READ MORE >
