Winnie is a high-energy girl who loves being on the go! She would thrive with a family that enjoys walks, outdoor adventures, playtime, and keeping her busy with fun activities. A securely fenced yard is a must for Winnie, giving her a safe place to run, play, and burn off some of that extra energy. The good news… Winnie is already housetrained! However, at just 1 year old, she’s still in that puppy stage and may chew on things she shouldn’t. She’ll need a family willing to continue working with her, provide appropriate chew toys, offer plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, and keep tempting items out of reach. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, Winnie can continue learning and growing into a wonderful adult dog. Winnie is also good with other dogs, so she may enjoy having canine friends to play with\. Proper introductions are always important when bringing dogs together. With her Golden Retriever and Great Pyrenees heritage, Winnie may have a wonderful mix of friendliness, intelligence, loyalty, and a protective streak.
