Susie is a 1.5-year-old Heeler mix with a bright spirit and lots of love to give. She came into our care after her previous owner was no longer able to keep her, and she’s now looking for a committed, active home where she can truly thrive. This sweet girl is full of energy and enthusiasm—she’ll do best with someone who can keep up with her active lifestyle and provide plenty of daily exercise and mental enrichment. Susie is smart and eager, but she’ll need continued training to help her channel all that energy into being her very best self. Susie is housebroken and has done well with both dogs and cats in the past. However, she does have a high prey drive and will chase birds, squirrels, and other small critters, so a watchful eye outdoors is important. She’s can be quite the escape artist, so a secure home with a tall, high privacy fence is a must to keep her safe. Susie currently weighs about 38 lbs., is approximately 1.5 years old (est. birth date 10/03/2024), and her adoption fee is $510. Susie has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
