Animal Bio

Baylee is a 10-year-old beagle who came to us from a hoarding situation in Hall County. When she arrived, she had a massive inguinal hernia the size of a bowling ball that contained her intestines and bladder. She went straight into foster care and had surgery to repair the hernia and tuck everything safely back inside her tiny body. Despite everything she went through, Baylee never slowed down. She moved around like nothing was wrong and has been thriving ever since. She’s now fully healed and ready for her forever home. Baylee is blossoming in foster care and coming out of her shell more every day. She loves her foster family and dog siblings, enjoys walks and exploring grassy yards, and has discovered the joy of toys. She’s learning potty training and has been accident-free overnight. She’s a cuddly little love bug who enjoys car rides, pup cups, soft blankets, and quiet nights on the couch. She doesn’t bark much, but she does have an adorable little howl when her food is being prepared. Baylee would do best in a calm, loving home where she can be included in everyday life and get plenty of snuggles. She’s small but mighty - and she’s pure joy. Baylee weighs about 15 pounds and is estimated to be about ten years old (est. birthdate 12/20/2015). Baylee is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. Her adoption fee is $185.
