Animal Bio
We recently rescued several beagles from a local animal control. Furkids is in the process of vetting all of these dogs. Once they are completely vetted, they will be available for meet & greets, and adoptions. We are going to begin screening applications in advance, so that we can get them to their forever home as soon as possible! Because they came from a hoarding case, they have had minimal human exposure and are now learning what it's like to be a normal dog. These dogs will require a fenced yard, as they can't walk on a leash. Due to the breed and how much they like to howl, we are not recommending apartments due to noise concerns.
Bonnie is a very gentle and sweet 12 year old Beagle that has been rescued from a lifetime of abuse and neglect. Even though she has suffered a very rough life she is just the sweetest, most gentle soul. She is currently in foster care. Her foster is working with her on crate training and is doing well if she is taken out often throughout the day. She is doing well learning to walk on a leash and is good at walking alongside her foster. She is very food motivated and with some patience and training she will be a great companion. She really does best around her foster family and doesn’t like being alone in her crate. She is very easy going and loves attention and being pet.
