Meet Bonnie! This sweet, gentle 12-year-old Beagle was rescued from a hoarding case in North Georgia involving dozens of other beagles, so she’s still learning what it means to live a normal, safe life with loving people. Bonnie is chill, cuddly, happy, and absolutely priceless. Her favorite activities include eating, sleeping, snacking, napping, and leisurely walks through the woods with her hound nose pressed firmly to the ground. True to her breed, she does enjoy howling, so apartment living isn’t recommended. Because of her background, Bonnie will need a home with a securely fenced yard, as she is still working on learning how to walk on leash. She’s mostly housebroken but is still working on it with her foster family. While she may cower if someone moves too fast, Bonnie truly loves people and other animals and blossoms with patience and kindness. Bonnie is looking for a calm, understanding home where she can enjoy her golden years feeling safe, loved, and cherished. She’s the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart and never gives it back. Bonnie is approximately 12 years old (est. birthdate 12/20/2013), weighs 15 pounds, and is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives. If you'd like to meet Bonnie in person and know more about her, fill out an adoption survey at www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog, and a team member will reach out to you in the following days to schedule an in-person meeting.
