Meet Belatrix! Belatrix is an estimated 6-year-old Beagle who was recently rescued, along with several other beagles, from a local animal control following a hoarding situation. Furkids is currently in the process of completing her full vetting. Once she is fully vetted, she will be available for meet and greets and adoption. In the meantime, we are beginning to screen applications so we can help her transition into her forever home as quickly as possible. What we know so far — she is incredibly SWEET. Because she came from a hoarding environment with minimal human exposure, Belatrix is still learning what it means to be a “normal” dog. She’s discovering new experiences every day and gaining confidence as she goes. Belatrix will require a home with a securely fenced yard. While many of the dogs from this case struggle with leash skills, she actually does pretty well on leash and continues to improve. As with most beagles, she enjoys using her voice, so we are not recommending apartment living due to potential noise concerns.
