A foster-to-adopt option is available for Juno, giving you the chance to get to know one another before making it official! Juno is a beautiful shepherd mix who has overcome more in her short life than most dogs ever should. When we first met her, Juno and her eight puppies were rescued from a heartbreaking neglect situation. Having had little to no human interaction, Juno was essentially feral. But thanks to the patience and dedication of a professional trainer, she has already made incredible progress, and she’s ready to keep growing with the right forever family. Juno is still very shy and nervous around people. She’s not quite ready for cuddles or close contact just yet, but with time, patience, and consistency, she’ll continue to build trust and confidence. Because of this, Juno will need a very experienced adopter who understands how to work with fearful dogs and is committed to giving her the space and support she needs to thrive. An active girl at heart, Juno will do best in a quiet home (no small children, please) with a fenced-in yard where she can run, play, and burn off energy. She LOVES the company of other dogs and absolutely needs a confident canine companion to help show her the ropes of family life. To make her transition as smooth as possible, Juno’s trainer will work closely with her adopters and provide guidance every step of the way. Juno may have started life in darkness, but we know there’s a special person out there who can help her discover all the love and light she’s been waiting for. Juno's estimated birthdate is 10/22/2020, weighs 55 pounds, and her adoption fee is $185. Juno is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.
