Meet Rose! Rose is a 9-month-old wirehaired Chihuahua mix with a sweet, spunky personality and the most endearing cuddly side. She’s looking for a loving family to help her continue growing into the confident, happy companion we know she’s meant to be. This little girl is great with dogs and children, making her a wonderful fit for an active, family-oriented home. While she is fully crate trained, she’s still working on housetraining and will thrive with patient guidance and consistency. Rose is also learning the ropes of leash walking (she has been excelling in this at the shelter with volunteer assistance)—she’s becoming more comfortable each day but will need a secure harness for safety. Rose can be timid when first meeting new people, but once she warms up, she shows her affectionate and clingy side—she absolutely loves to snuggle. She’s gaining confidence daily and will truly blossom in a home where she feels safe and loved. The only thing Rose asks is a home without cats.
