A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Meet Kuro! Kuro is a 5-year-old Goldendoodle mix with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. House-trained, crate-trained, and a wonderful walker, he’s already mastered the basics and is a favorite among our volunteers for his sweet nature. This handsome boy thrives in an active home where he can run, play, and burn off energy. He loves chasing squirrels and has the silliest habit of sneaking socks whenever he gets the chance—it’s his little quirk! Kuro does have enamel hypoplasia, a dental condition that requires annual cleanings and regular care to keep him healthy and comfortable. His future family should be prepared for this ongoing part of his routine care. Though he’s fun-loving and affectionate, Kuro can get nervous with loud noises like heavy rain or fireworks, so a patient family who can reassure him during those times would be ideal. We also think he’d do best with a fenced-in yard, where he can safely play and feel secure. With love, patience, and plenty of playtime, Kuro will reward his family with endless loyalty, joy, and affection. Kuro currently weighs about 20 lbs., is approximately 5 years old (est. birth date 02/21/2020), and his adoption fee is $510. Kuro has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
