If you're looking for a mid-sized guy who adores his people, loves to cuddle, is playful and energetic, and is always smiling, Kernel is perfect! This adorable hound mix is housetrained and crate-trained, and he gets along well with female dogs. His fosters say he is such a good boy who is SUPER sweet, but he gets a little worked up over doorbells and people entering the home, so he needs some training on those issues. Thankfully, he's treat-motivated and would be easy to train for someone willing to work with him. He was adopted, and the adoptive family said he could not be sweeter, but they had young children and guests in and out of the home, which made Kernel a bit too anxious, so he was returned to the shelter. Because he's so playful and overly excited, he would probably do best in a home with no young children. Kernel weighs 37lbs., is approximately 2 years old (est. birth date 8/19/2020), and his adoption fee is $305.
