Animal Bio

Luna P is a very sweet, laid back girl who, like any introvert, prefers to be alone until you have gained her trust. Once she feels comfortable she enjoys getting belly rubs and will reward you with kisses. She is getting increasingly comfortable going outside on the leash for walks and just needs a patient owner who understands that it will take time for her to come out of her shell to be the loving dog that we know she can be! She does well with her foster-sibling (another little dog) and she is house trained. Luna P is currently undergoing treatments for heartworm disease. Until she has completed her treatments and is fully recovered, she is available for adoption only in the Atlanta area. She must be able to come to Furkids' shelter for treatments. Luna P weighs 25 lbs., is 4 yrs. old (est. birth date 12/6/2016) and her adoption fee is $305. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet the dog.
