Asher and his four siblings were an unwanted litter and were surrendered to an Animal Control shelter. Furkids brought them under its care so they could find homes where they would not only be wanted, but loved and well cared for. The puppies had sarcoptic mange, which was treated and they've now been cleared for adoption. A male dog was also surrendered to Animal Control with the puppies and it is believed that he is the puppies' daddy (it is unknown what happened to their mama). He is now with Furkids and his name is Adam. Adam weighs 50 pounds so the puppies are expected to be large dogs. Also, these puppies were not socialized and, thus, are very nervous. For this reason, they need to go to homes with no children under age 12. A quiet household would be best and the adopter needs to be ready to spend time socializing the puppy and making sure that the puppy receives appropriate puppy training. The puppies' estimated birthdate is 2/26/2020 and each has an adoption fee of $300. If you want more information about these puppies, please submit a survey at https://furkids.org/dog-adoptions/application. At this time, meeting our dogs is by appointment only. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet the dog. Must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.
