| Special needs cats, as expected, need special care, and are all the more special to their care providers. They may have been born with their special need, or contracted it due to illness, accident, injury, infection, disease, malnutrition, or other means.All special needs cats can be loving, active cats, despite what we humans might call a “disability.” They definitely all deserve a forever home and warm caring human affection as much as any “normal” cat.
The first step towards adopting is to submit an adoption application. You may do so online or in person through one of our adoption center locations. Once you have submitted an adoption application, our volunteer staff will contact you within 24 – 72 hours. If you have any questions, you can contact us by email at adopt@furkids.org.
